As we continue to expand our presence in the UK, we are seeking an ambitious and commercially driven UK Sales Manager to play a pivotal role in our growth journey. The Role

Reporting directly to the UK Country Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies that increase ELTAKO's market presence, strengthen our brand awareness, and drive sustainable revenue growth within the UK.

This role combines new business development with strategic account management and offers significant autonomy to shape ELTAKO's future success in the UK market.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a UK sales strategy focused on sustainable growth and market expansion.
  • Increase ELTAKO's visibility, brand awareness and market penetration across the electrical industry.
  • Build, maintain and develop relationships with key electrical wholesalers, buying groups, distributors and industry stakeholders.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities across the UK market.
  • Manage and grow existing customer accounts to maximise revenue and profitability.
  • Work closely with wholesalers, contractors, consultants and end users to create demand for ELTAKO solutions.
  • Deliver product presentations, training sessions and demonstrations to customers and partners.
  • Represent ELTAKO at trade exhibitions, industry events and customer meetings.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activity and customer requirements to identify growth opportunities.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates and market intelligence to support business planning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the UK and wider European organisation to support strategic objectives.

About You

We're looking for a highly motivated sales professional who combines strong commercial awareness with the ability to build lasting customer relationships.

Essential Experience

  • Proven track record in sales, business development or account management within the electrical industry.
  • Experience dealing with and/or selling into electrical wholesalers.
  • Strong understanding of the UK electrical distribution market.
  • Demonstrable success in developing new business opportunities and growing existing accounts.
  • Experience managing customer relationships across multiple regions within the UK.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, organised and results-driven approach.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the UK, with occasional overseas travel as required.

Desirable Experience

  • National account management experience within the electrical wholesaler channel.
  • Experience within smart building controls, energy management, building automation, lighting controls or related technologies.
  • Knowledge of Smart Home, BMS, energy efficiency or building control systems.
  • Experience working with electrical buying groups and major wholesale organisations.
